I’ve been teaching science for little over 6 years. I attended The College of Wooster and University of Toledo and have taken some graduate science and business courses at Bowling Green State University. I currently hold a 7-12 Licensure.
My hobbies are gardening, candle making, bird watching, and exploring the woods to identify wild flowers, lichens, and moss species. I also like acting in local plays.
I’m married and have lots of rescued pets.
My two favorite movies are Notebook and Shawshank Redemption, the latter because I visited the prison used in the movie and the site where some filming was done near Mohican State Park.
My favorite book is by a local author who lives about 5 miles away from my home. Katrina Morgan wrote Echoes in the Walls, a story about a very old home the author rehabs and the events that took place during that project. I gave the book to one of my sisters-in-law who rehabs homes. She loved it as well. After putting my detective hat on, my husband and I successfully searched for the actual house. When my sister-in-law came to town we took her to the house. It was awesome!
