Who We Are
OHDELA stands for the Ohio Distance and Electronic Learning Academy and is a tuition-free, non-sectarian, public, online charter school. OHDELA exists through the legal authority of Ohio charter school laws, and answers directly to the Ohio Charter School Council.
Home is where learning happens everyday and so learning never stops at the Ohio Distance and Electronic Learning Academy. We provide students with internet based, live learning sessions directed by state certified teachers from the comfort and safety of your home.
Witness the joy and confidence your child experiences when the obstacles to learning are removed. OHDELA provides free use of a complete computer system, technical support and internet reimbursement, along with engaging online curriculum available day or night, 365 days of the year.

OHDELA's mission is to fully educate and develop the children of OHDELA by utilizing an educational model that combines state-of-the-art technology with the ability of families to be thoroughly involved in their child's education by directing the child along an educational path that meets the child's needs, desires and aptitudes.
