The Ohio Distance and Electronic Learning Academy (OHDELA) is a tuition-free public, online charter school. It is a statewide distance learning, nonsectarian school for grades K-12. OHDELA exists through the legal authority of Ohio charter school laws, and answers directly to the Ohio Charter School Council.

OHDELA is one of three types of charter schools managed by White Hat Management, LLC. Founded in 1998 by Akron, Ohio, industrialist David Brennan, White Hat is among the premier education management organizations in the United States. White Hat's mission is to bring exciting and effective educational choices to students and their parents. Long-term, White Hat Management seeks to reshape the future of public education in the state of Ohio.

DELA operates schools in Colorado, Ohio and Pennsylvania.
