WHAT IS OHDELA?
OHDELA is a statewide, K-12, distance learning, non-sectarian, public charter school managed by White Hat Management, LLC. OHDELA exists through the legal authority of Ohio charter school laws and answers directly to the Ohio Charter School Council (formerly the University of Toledo’s Charter School Council), which has granted authority to OHDELA to operate in Ohio.
WHAT IS OHDELA'S MISSION?
OHDELA's mission is to help families who would like to join in the experience of home-based education. OHDELA's lessons and assignments are geared to help each student excel. Curriculum is specifically designed for distance learning and is aligned with Ohio's educational standards. OHDELA families are provided with the resources that they need to succeed, including supportive teachers, a complete computer system, color printer/scanner/fax unit, online tutoring, award winning curriculum and live online classes.
